The Terror Live, 2013 – ★★★

A smartly contained low-budget affair that gripped for the most part. There seems to be a constant issue with many films of what I refer to as Bad Guys get Stupid. It happens around the end of act two when we need the protagonist to turn their fate around but often isn’t convincing. This one too sadly suffers from that. The last act falters a little, so if the adaptation takes a slight detour, I hope it’s in this particular area.

I watched this in anticipation for Dhamaka the new Indianised remake Directed by Ram Madhwani that’s just been sold to Netflix over a theatrical release for some whopping moolah. Karthik Aaryan will do the role of the presenter justice I feel. The rest sort of should just fall into place. Let’s see.
