Had a good laugh watching this, it’s made well in terms
of that balance between humour and action, with a tasty does of ridiculous.
From a writing standpoint, it totally feels like an early draft of John Wick. Lesser stakes, a lower key world, lesser emotional core. Almost like some executive had asked them to crank it up a notch for A-lister potential.
Not a complaint though, more an observation. I’d still see another one of these than what they’ve done with that franchise.
