A Shot in the Dark, 1964 – ★★★

This was a warm fuzzy feeling of nostalgia. Clouseau, finally the way I expected him to be. His blind spot is now sizably smaller to fit the ongoings. His sparring butler Cato making his first appearance was also a welcome addition to the madness.

The murder itself was pretty ridiculous and the climax convenient, but still a satisfying rewatch. I’ll take a break from this, but will certainly be resuming the Sellers/Clouseau series soon enough.
