A bundle of fun. It’s not as spoofy as Scream, but is still self-aware and does a good job of surprising by following the genre template and subverting in just the right dosage to come through as its own identity.
The writers are hardcore fans of the genre or have a done a good deal of research to nod to almost all of the iconic films of the genre without a nod & a wink.
Impressed, but this does mean the following chapters now have more baggage of expectation to deliver upon.
