Perhaps a controversial opinion, but I quite found Arkin as Clouseau refreshing. I felt he brought his own flavour to the role and it worked for me. Some good spins on the familiar gags too. I guess this might be coming from a place of lowered expectations knowing he did not return to the role, but I liked it.
