Utter garbage. All the stupid characters in this film deserved what came coming. I haven’t seen characters act so irrationally when up against danger since forever. This defecated all over its prequel and how. I just hope this was a gap filler and the end of this saga next year has some thought put into it.
Although I could see the political messaging it was trying to portray with all the “Evil Dies Tonight” malarkey, and trying to inject some sudden sympathy toward Michael, however, it simply did not work. This is just not the way to do it.
I don’t feel short-changed as much as I feel angry at such a shallow narrative being approved by whoever the decision-makers are behind it.
