Probably the inspiration for “A Quiet Place”, I’ve come late to this one, but really enjoyed it. For the STC followers, this is a masterclass in how following through on the genre you pick really matters.
On the surface of it, it’s set up on a premise level as Golden-Fleece (heist) story while on a plot level it’s actually a Monster-in-the-House (don’t get eaten) story, which has to and does follow the conventions of a traditional horror tale.
