Since 1997, I’ve made a point of watching murder mysteries as soon as possible to avoid spoilers. Coming to this, I’m glad I saw it, it has some smart reveals and motivations that make them feel plausible.
That said, I’d have said the same if I just saw the second half and in there lies the rub. A mid-point murder is simply not the pace at which features go now. Even this would have been forgivable if the first half entertained, but it was pretty much the assembly of those who would be suspects eventually.
Overall, some good stuff in it theoretically, not so much in execution.
