No Time to Die, 2021 – ★★★

Everything I expected to be and nothing more.

Ticks the boxes of being current, relevant and shifting to a more woke culture while giving Craig-Bond the send-off he deserves in a spectacularly Hollywood blockbuster fashion.

Within this also lies the rub. It does all this at the cost of the British rawness of what Casino Royale had re-injected into the franchise.

The villain was a little run-of-the-mill for me, but that may just be too many world reboot blockbusters seen in my time. He also has little to offer with his goal being so lacking in tactfulness.

All said and done, glad I saw it, enjoyed it, despite it not feeling needed.
